I was a champion fighter on top of the world and had the girl of my dreams.
I had it all - until I lost it all…
First I lost that fight, then I lost her.
Then mom gets cancer… When it rains, it pours, right?
I hated the holiday season after that because Christmastime reminded me of my darkest days.
How she vanished on me like that. Without a trace.
I made a promise I wouldn’t be a grinch this year, but then she reappears - as if nothing ever happened.
Am I supposed to act like we’re friends now just because I find out she’s mom’s new nurse?
